Anyone using TFO TPM Pacemaker series casting rods?

Specifically the 6'10" M-Mod. topwater?  TW has them at 47% off.  I've never used a TFO rod, and can't recall anyone mentioning them on this forum...or any other that I visit.  I believe I have read a little on their flyrods and the opinion seems to be the flyrods are good value.

I will say that the trigger looks very uncomfortable.

I just pulled the trigger on the 7'4" X-Heavy Structure model...I was looking for a small-medium swimbait rod and figured this would work with the Moderate action and 1/2-2oz. lure rating. I originally came here looking for a review myself, but still couldn't pass up the deal after finding limited feedback. I'll report back once received...should come in by the 1st.

Unfortunately TW no longer has those rods.  I did buy two Ark Tharp series when TW had them on sale a couple months ago.  I've also picked up 9 used rods since this posting.  Pretty much reached a point where it will require a rod severely peaking my interest for me to buy another.  Wouldn't be so bad if I were a young man.  Don't know how many years I have left in which I will be able to use what I have.

TW does have the Tactical and Tactical Elite on sale, but not as much off as what I had been looking at.

Yeah I literally just bought the 7’4 XH for small swimbaits as well. Hasn’t arrived yet.
