I can't find these anywhere but Walmart, and they only have the pre-rigged version in my local stores.  Those work fine, but the jighead rips the bait up rather quickly.  I haven't found a store with any in stock.  I was in TX last week, and Cabellas didn't have them in yet, and the two Dallas BPS stores said they weren't carrying them.  My local Gandermountain carries Lake Fork stuff, but no Live Magic Shad.  I am checking Dick's this afternoon...

Anyone know of any other retailers that carry this bait?  I would rather not buy from an online store or ebay.

Have you tried the Lake Fork tackle web site that makes them?

BPS stopped carring the LFT last year.

Go back to your local Wal-Mart store and ask them to order them for you I can get them at my store unrigged. Your paticular store may not have a Mod for them mine has the unrigged ones on a side display on a end cap. Your store should order them for you.

I know you said you didn't want to do an online purchase but if you do I would suggest Brad at JBC outfitters.  I ordered a few off of him and he got them to me right away.  

i have almost bought a few of these shad baits being talked about in this post. im just wondering how well they work as far as action and how to fish them etc ? they look a lot like some of the products being sold on tv. are they worth giving a try? thank for any info

Look up on their web site and contact them.    Ask him where the nearest retailer is nearest your location that has what your looking for.

Hydrillakilla - They work wonderfully.  The fish in the ponds I go to go nuts over them.  They are simple to use, I have had great results fishing them several ways.  This catches fish for me as well, or better in some areas, than senkos.

Matt Fly - The Lake Fork website is screwed up, but it looks like I'm gonna have to order these from online.  

Jimzee - I think I'll try JBC outfitters on your recommendation...
