I am wondering about good practicle ways of framing a platform at the front of a v-hull to put a platform on.  And also I know it may be strange but I want to put a side console on the boat.  I already have the remote steering and throttle hooked up Because up intil yesterday it was bow covererd.  I really don't like tiller steering my 30hp and want to keep the remote setup.  Any ideas for a homemade console for the pully steering system.  Thanks Dan

    There's aluminum, 1x1, etc.  Plenty of ways to do it depending on budget, talent/tools and weight specs.

    As for the console, are you any good with fiberglass?  It's like arts & crafts for adults,lol
