We do a lot of side pulling with a TM on the near aft side of the boat (Tracker). Wondering if using side imaging would work at all, or if there are particular concerns that need to be addressed. Thanks Folks!

you could put the transducer on the trolling motor and probably get comprehensible returns.

 

If you had it on the transom and we’re pulling the boat parallel to the beam, I’m not sure the result would be satisfactory.
