I have had the seat pedestals (poles) in my boat for a while now and they are beginning to look rough. They are now dull and have some sort of rough/oxidated finish on them. I'm not sure if there is, but I was wondering what would be the best way to make them shine again? Thanks

What about using a piece of steel wool to lightly buff and then some sort of metal, stainless, aluminum polish.  Just a thought
