Ok guys i have an old 84 malibu sport fish 17'6". I dont have a lot of storage on this boat, but I do have two rod lockers. Im trying to find a company who makes the file slot storage for plastic storage boxes. Im looking for something to drop in the rod box to hold the boxes horizontally. Something comparable to the storage systems you see today in most boats.

Also, looking into making something. If you guys have any ideas let me know what yall think!! Its my christmas break project before the college fishing season really kicks into gear. Thanks guys.

are you looking for a more perm. fixture or something that you can carry with you. If you are looking for a perm. fixture then an "inbox" rack that you see ontop of desk/ offices etc. lust lay them down screw,glue,tape,nail,weld in the rod locker an just simply slide your tackle boxes in the slot. talk about low budget huh.
