A quick review of Wackyworm by sight.

I went to WackyWorm today. I was pleasantly surprised. It is just an older style building on the outside and not a lot of decorations, displays on the inside. What they have are lures and other baits. They had a great selection of soft plastics (much better than the two headed monster chain). They had most of the major brands that the online warehouse stores have, but the prices were cheaper (at least those I checked). The paca net was .40 cheaper than the online store. I have not checked other baits, but the owner told me that he has better prices. I believe him. The shoppers were friendlier too then those I see in the two-headed monster stores. You could talk fishing without feeling rushed. They had plenty of brands and plenty of colors. They had their own brand too. I had about 50 packs of these soft wacky Worm (soft stick senko style). They were 4.49 a pack for ten. The whole store was 20% off, but I found some soft baits for 50%. The sale is this week. I have not had the chance to try their worms, but the shoppers told me they work quite well and for 3.60 a pack, it was worth a shot. The scent was good and I like their colors. All in all , I will gladly be back (about an hour's drive) as there is a very good polish restaurant close. We had really good potato pancakes, fried breaded pork chop, stuffed cabbage, cucumber salad and a heck of a side of kielbasa for just 2.49 extra. The mashed potatoes and pancakes well season very well. I like to fish and to eat.

Overall, a great experience. The polish restaurant wetted my appetite and now I can't wait to wet some of these new baits . I also got some of their own tubes, swimming minnows and different style hooks. I got other packs of the national plastics. Cheaper prices plus 20% off. The staff was friendly and helpful.I felt like I was in a fishing store around other fishermen.
