How to mount my Transducer on the bow?

Need some advice. I have a Ranger 2004 Comanche 521VX. Last season I bought a Humminbird Helix 10 MSI GPS G3N and had the transducer installed on my rear transom. But I want to install a transducer on the bow, either on my Ultrex with a mount or on the hull? Amy suggestions as to:

1.  what kind of transducer I should buy?

2.  Should I install it on my Ultrex (110v. 36" ipilot) on a transducer bracket 

 

I appreciate any experienced suggestions.

    Get the same transducer you have on the transom. Mount it to your trolling motor with one of these
