Hey guys I’ve been off and on this sight for years but just now getting

to fish the lake from a boat so I have a few questions about the lowrance HDs 8 gen 2!!! First is how do you tell what are bass and all that and how to tell when you’re just seeing floating vegetation. Also what is your guys preferred settings to get the most out of your electronics!! 

Also I have photos of what I think is large school of bass but can’t figure out how to upload!!

Generally fish will be a brighter return than vegetation as they are much denser and will have a better return.  They look like dashes as much as anything.
