Lowrance HDS Live and Ghost Trolling Motor

Featured Replies

I am considering a Ghost Trolling Motor and HDS live for front of boat but i want to make sure I’m thinking correctly.

1. Am i correct that the Ghost Trolling Motor has a built in transducer in the nose cone that can be upgraded to included sonar, downscan and side scan?

2. Am i correct that in order to get front facing LiveSight I would need a separate transducer mounted on the shaft of the trolling motor?

3. Am i correct that I can have a single HDS Live unit that will connect to both the transducer in the trolling motor AND the front facing LiveSight but i would only be able to view one at a time.  Meaning i could only see LiveSight when programmed to the shaft mounted transducer and only see Sonar/downscan/sides can when programmed to the trolling motor transducer.

With this setup I would need to purchase the trolling motor, the shaft mounted transducer, and the HDS live unit.

Help me out.  Is all this correct?

Thanks
