What are your thoughts on this combo, decent or not?I was looking at the 6'9" medium light/fast for finesse applications.

Definitely decent especially if on sale.

I got a pair of the 2.0 spinning reels and used them last week, I really liked them (they are on existing 2.0 & 1.0 rods I have).  I use one as a Ned rig setup the other for shaky heads & light plastics.

 

I didn't like the 1.0 reels, the previous models and had always used Shimanos instead.  My initial reaction to the 2.0 is they are really solid, light and match well to the Carbonlite rods.

 

Don't have the reel, but I do have three 2.0 medium spinning rods (two are 7' and one is 7'2".) Older Carbonlite spinning rods were just fine the same size just wanted the 2.0 rods, so made the trade in last year.  I still have an older 7' medium Carbonlite spinning rod with a 4000 Stradic FE on it.
