Well im about to restore my little boat its 14 ft with 20 hp mercury

Im gona paint it the same color as my Ranger which is Silver however im kinda stuck on Color for the carpet / seats and such... what do you think

My truck interrior is Black ... I cant seem to find any carpet / seats that match black so it comes down to me asking for opinions what you think would be the best (but still low in price) to redo the interior seats and carpeting on the deck.

I always go with light colors inside, light blue, grey, red, brown. those dark color make it really hot when the sun is beating down on it for 8 -10 hours. I would never use black, also it is hard to get clean. One my boats. one is blue, one grey and one tan, I like the tan the best. I had a buddy with a black  carpeted boat and it was hard to stay in it in the summer, and forget about taking you shoes off. hot feet!!!

Light colors.

I've had a couple boats with what was called charcoal grey and those things would bake you in the sun.  

Silver Gray for hull, Light Gray carpet(not loop), White or some other light color Seats.

My boat has Black Interior and Black Hull with Red accent.  It will kill you on a Blue Bird 90 Degree day.

Thanks for your sugestions - I would have never thought of the dark colors in heat - Gona go to BPS and see what they offor and take a look at some other boats.
