I was looking at those plastic Bass Hunter,Pelican 2 seater boats. They would fit in the back of my truck. My question is should I get one of those boats with a trolling motor or just get a Jon Boat and a trolling motor. Both of them would be 10 footers. Thanks Mike 8-)

I have both a Bass Hunter and a 12ft Jon boat.  I prefer to fish out of the Bass Hunter.  I power both of them with the same $5.00 Minn Kota 35(estate auction).  The Bass Hunter is the most stable platform.  I fish the Jon if there is someone fishing with me.

Have you looked at the Fold Cat by Sea Eagle? I've got my Champion, a 12 foot Jon Boat and a float tube but the Fold Cat is looking pretty sweet.
