2004 Xpress x19

Featured Replies

I am looking at a used 2004 Xpress X19. I ended up selling my sea ark to get something a little bigger and faster. The boat is 6 hours from my house. The guy told me that this boat does not really have rod storage. It is a dual console. He is an older gentlemen and that did not bass fish and it just seemed off that a boat like this would not have decent rod storage. Any one have any ideas before I waste 12 hours of driving?

As much storage as the new big boys?? Probably not.

He may be thinking storage like a saltwater boat with rod holders everywhere..

I run an 2014 Xpress x17 and can fit 7 or 8 in mine. Longest being a 7’11.
It does not have a center rod tube locker. It has a side one and spinning reels takes up the most space.

For the money, in my opinion (biased) Xpress is the best tin boat you can bang around in.
