Why do I seem to lose so many bass on my wacky rig?

 

….slow rod tip.

...line stretch.

...rig set up wrong.

In order to help you, more information would be helpful.  Which rod (power, action, etc,), what line (braid, mono, fluoro), what hook (style, size).  You will get help here for sure, just fill in the blanks
