i have found a venture tournement edition with a yamaha 150 pro v boat is 18' long and is a 1987 model motor runs strong gell coat is good and everything works all it needs is some new carpet just wondering about it and what it might be worth. i dont know the value of boats and it would be my first glass boat so any help would be great thank you

A boat like that would probably go for $3,000-4,000 in these parts. If the boat and motor are in good shape then you start looking at the age and condition of depthfinders, TM, batteries, seats, etc. The Yamaha ProV motor is a very stout engine. Provided it's been properly maintained over the years, it's still got a lot of life in it and can be hot rodded.
