Sevylor Fish Hunter

Featured Replies

Has anyone used these boats? How good is the stability? What was your overall impression and experience with it.

I got one for fathers day 6 years ago an still have it. I have used it on many ocassions to take the kids out in it for rec use. I plan on useing it more for fishing now. I plan on getting a pice of plywood an placeing it on the inside (make a hard bottom). Mine has provisions for a  trolling motor).

with that being said I plan on getting one, an useinf a milk crate as a battery/seat.

I woun't use it in windy days or big lakes though, small ponds an calm days.

I got the 12 foot fish hunter a couple years ago and bought the transom attachment, a 30 lb thrust minn kota troll motor, and 12 volt battery, and was on the water in no time, fishing the small lakes in our region.

I really enjoyed it. I think it gets a bit uncomfortable with 2 adults, but for solo trips it was great.
