New to Lowrance: Transducers for Elite Ti2 set-up

Featured Replies

All,

I'm looking to get 2 Elite-7 Ti-2 units. 1 for the bow and 1 for the console. I'm wondering what transducer i should get for each? The Active Imaging 3-in-1, Active Imaging 2-in-1 + Mid/High skimmer + y-cable or the HDI transducer? and why?

This will be quite the upgrade for this boat but i am unfamiliar with Lowrance. I have done some research but still cant seem to sort out all the advantages of each option. I have Humminbird Helix units on my other boat but going with Lowrance for various reasons on this boat. Any suggestions are much appreciated!

Active imaging 3 in 1 has side imaging. You want that for the console for sure.

2 in 1 does 2d and down imaging. I have that on the trolling motor for the front graph on my boat.

Mid and high skimmer would be 2d that will work at higher speeds than the big 2 or 3 in one ducers will
