Looking for a couple replacements

Featured Replies

Well I just sold off two rods and got one more that might go. First one sold is the dobyns seirra 734c, second was a 7’ m/h fast kistler helium lta, third might be 7’6” envy black heavy extra fast. now I’m looking at upgrades.

to replace the 734c, I’m thinking 7’2” m/h expride with a chronarch mgl. I’m trying to think of a megabass that might be comparable? Rod will be used for spinners, charters, paddlertails, underspins, smaller top waters probably. Mainly just a universal moving bait rod.

second/third rod is the envy black. The rod is used now for t-rigs, c-rigs, dragging footballs in deepwater or thick cover. The rods not bad but unsatisfied with 13 fishing as a whole so want something different. Once again looking at a 7’6” heavy expride, or a megabass comparison. I’ve never tried megabass.

any suggestions on high end t-rig/pitching rod, and a high end moving bait/universal rod? I’ve got almost everything else covered from ultra finesse, finesse, jigs, cranking, frogging ect.

Being in Canada may change a few things. International shipping is EXTREMELY expensive on rods so it all depends on what you have near you.

dobyns and kistler are pretty much out. Nobody near me carries it. I can get most other regular. 90% of my rods are glx and nrx. But wouldn’t mind trying megabass rods. About to order a launcher for deep cranking, and wouldn’t mind 1 or 2 more to try, that’s why I was looking for a universal and maybe a good bottom contact c-rig and t-rig rod. Thinking maybe Valdivia for the 7’6” replacement and 7’2” expride for the universal
