Are any of you guys running electric fuel pumps on your rigs?

I got a older bass boat with a merc 150 and it seems like the pumps dont last as long as they used to (ethanol).

Im looking for another option.

    If you are thinking electric Automotive type,  It's a bad ideal unless you have a method of stopping them when the motor stops.

    Now if it marine style and will only pump gas when the outboard is running, then i can see no problem as long as the pressure from the electric pump is regulated to match that of the outboards on board pump

    Just my two cents......
