since i got back into bass fishing 3 months ago after about 30yrs since i last fished tournaments, so first all my pistol grip baitcasting rods were replaced with the modern day baitcasting rods, got 4 new reels,Lews LFS, Lews tournament MP, Piscifun Phantom and the Daiwa CT 100 hs, all have braided lines except the Daiwa ct 100hs, it has flourocarcon, this is the only reel that i am not satisfied with getting any casting distance. so before i decide to sell it, if i put braided line on it will i get better casting distance.
