Spike it question

Featured Replies

I use the spike it markers to color my trailers and stick baits, do you guys recolor the same area after use for awhile? I recolored my same zako trailer so much during trips that the tail is now a solid green, should I continue to keep adding strokes to my trailers to keep a fresh scent after they've been colored originally or just let them be?

Probably won’t hurt anything. If you get lazy and you keep catching fish at the same rate then you will know.

I use these for the color. The fact that it has scent is an added bonus. If you didn't want the tail to be chartuse (which ended up green) I would get the black or blue version of that marker.  Or just use something for scent without color.
