Hit the water at 6am.. was just myself and the Fish til about 10am.. couldn’t believe it.. with the heat I hit it different.. worked one side twice in the shade. Only a couple dinks.. than hit a big girl and lost it in the Lily pads. Was not happy.

What a beautiful little lake!  Keep hitting those shaded areas in this summer heat.

Unfortunately a fisherman in a boat with 2 children ended up in the water last Sunday. They found him Tuesday . The children were safe from what I understand. They still don’t know the story last I’ve found.. but this small lake gets crowded on weekends as they rent kayaks,canoes,paddle boards. I can only assume his legs may have gotten caught up in growth as there is a lot of it. No PFD .
