Sea Eagle 6,8,9

Featured Replies

My birthday is coming up and I was wondering about finally buying a boat. Now is definitely not enough time to buy a multi K boat and also space is an issue. I have had my eye on the Sea eagle company.

I have been looking into these Sea Eagles:

Sea Eagle 8

Sea Eagle 6

Sea eagle 9

I have tested the material and it was unbelievably strong and sturdy. Also, I wanted the boat because of its portability and easy storage. The floorboards that it comes with allow you to stand completely safe up. I am going to Ford Lake in Michigan during the summer and would like to get out on the water and fish for those big bass.

I was also looking to find a good electric motor to match with it.

I would appreciate replies from people who own any sea eagle products or more specifically the three above.

-Thank you

Get which ever is the biggest or will soot your need the best and add the biggest trolling motor that your choice will support and go fish

No I don't own one but that as good an answer as I would guess that you will get from someone that has own or fished from one.

It's better then nothing. Had one , didn't keep it long. Very disappointed in every aspect of the boat.

I thought sea eagle were very popular boats. also, I thought that they were pretty durable. The only issue is money. I'm under 18 and want to get something that is not too expensive. I looked at these boats a year ago, but recently forgot about them. Gotta be a reason why I saw them again.

I had all three models and enjoyed them. Had a bad experience with a hole in the seam of one of them, but Sea Eagle sent me a brand new one.

If you have a couple of hundred bucks, you can find a beater jon boat on Craigslist. I just missed one for $50.

Get the nine get a couple of your buds and go fish!

I had one, and 8 or 9 can't remember, like Bass-Brat I didnn't keep it for long either. I drive a small civic coupe getting that thing deflated/inflated and in/out of my trunk was a hassle. The floorboards I had to stuff into the backseat...+ all my fishing gear.

When I was out on the water, I had trouble with winds and since it's so light I could turn on a dime...which could be a good thing, but when you're zig-zagging around it gets kinda annoying.

Bottom line...if you can keep it inflated and toss it in the back of a truck or something, I'd say go for it, setting that thing up wasn't an easy task.

ps: get a kayak =D
