I have just been given an old Minn Kota LTD 24 trolling motor. I'm not sure exactly how old, at least 20yrs I'd say. Thing is I can hardly find any information on this thing at all. Has anyone owned this motor in the past and have an opinion on it? I am going to put it in my 1232 Jon boat.

    Well the price was right, free.  Assuming the 24 refers to thrust it might be a little on the weak side to move a 12 foot tin boat. POst a picture maybe somebody will recognize it.
