Been putting off buying a new prop for my Suzuki DT-65 for the last year or so. Priced a stainless from Browns Point late in 07, almost pulled the trigger but held off.

Been tinkering on the boat for the last couple of weeks, finally decided to buy a new prop. When I priced the stainless back then, it was around $250. Now the wretched is $320. d**n aluminum has shot up to $150.

Making me give a good hard thought to getting my two nicked up aluminum props reworked.

Burley .... stainless is of course gonna give you better performance and be harder to damage. You are right .... prices have gone crazy !!!

The last prop I bought for our Range was about $550 and then I sent it off to be balanced and blueprinted .... another $175 before It was ever ran on the boat !!!  Ouch !!!

But .... even getting yours reworked ain't cheap anymore

Count on spending about $100 each to have your aluminum props reworked.

11.5" x 16, S1600 Suzuki part number

I've been looking at aftermarket props on and off, just can't really figure them out.

Been keeping an eye on eBay, but I've only found one comparable Suzuki prop and the seller couldn't give me the specs.

If Your engine is running around 5500 rpm's with your current prop a 15p smaller diameter will spin faster.  Going to a 17p will drop your RPM's.
