Transducer Placement/ Mounting

Featured Replies

I have recently bought a Lowrance x 510c! I am trying to mount it on my 14 foot Aluminum Lowe Boat. I am not 100% sure where I should put the transducer on the back of the boat so that I can acheive ultimate performance.

Thank You

I put mine 10 inches from the side of the boat. I have a 14 foot lowe also, this works fine for me. I did this to get it away from the motor some.

Okay I will do that!

When I have the transducer mounted, what is the best way to have it angled. By that I mean should I have the transducer facing straight down or should I have it on a 45 degree angle?
