Featured Replies

Well after riding my mountain bike around town this weekend I decided to cut out the carpet for the boat, the carpet is not glued down yet; I will start that next weekend that's if I don't have to do any overtime.

Well I just got done gluing down other parts of the carpet, it's coming along pretty good, and all I need is some good worm weather and the glue will dry faster.

If you had used this, http://www.dap.com/product_details.aspx?product_id=35, it would have made your life a hellavalot simpler.

Also, I hope you cut everything on the same grain. If not, it can make your carpet look two-toned, depending on how the light hits it.

Did you get the carpet at Lowe's or Home Depot, etc.?  I am doing mine now and debating what to get.

WOW, that's good man! Wish you lived close so you could re-do my boat!

;D Dam I could have made some money  ;D

Looks great, How much did the whole thing cost?

Do you have a price list of all materials used etc.

I am looking at decking a boat but on limited funds, found a boat and motor for $35 and picked up a 55# bow mount TM for $100.

You can never have too many clamps. . .  or bricks.

I ordered some flex / lip trim plastic molding to put on the inside lip of the rod lockers, so what do you think? I like it

Well let see I got the boat for free, I spent a $ 1,000 to get the motor running, the fuel pump was shot. I didn't keep a price list, I think I put about $ 1,800 plus the & 1,000 for the motor = $2,800 that's is still a good price, it's nice to have good friends at work with hook ups to save you money.
