2-piece Casting Rods <6'6"?

Featured Replies

Does anyone have experience with quality ML 2-piece casting rods preferably ~6' with fast or xfast tips?

I'm looking for one and I'm surprised how few there are - I figure I must be missing some of the smaller makers.

Thanks!

The only rod that is 2-pc. and ML/XF anywhere near that length is 6'-06". It's the Berkley Heritage. I've got one, and I wouldn't say it's ML; more like M/XF. It has stainless guide inserts, and at one time I wanted something to use for leader knots with impunity. It was good for that, but after that it's nothing special. BTW - they're on clearance right now.

I don't know of anything else.

I hope you find what you want!    ?    jj

Start with the brand Major Craft, they have a bunch of different lines that are one of the more available JDM brands.  I think Megabass had some 2/4 part rods as part of the jdm Levente line.

Thanks All!

I ordered a Major Craft Benkei!  Unfortunately, I couldn't find any Levente rods in stock.
