Me and a buddy are thinking of going out to Anderson this weekend and seeing what it looks like with almost zero water and either lure hunting or fishing lol. Is it still open and are there still fish in the lake?

Last I read it is closed. Maybe you can drive over the hill to the Woodchopper picnic area (if it's still called that). Do a search and you will find the answer.
