I have picked up a couple of motors over the last few months.  Johnson 10HP, Johnson 5HP and a Mercury 25.  I need to test them before heading to the lake.  Can someone post a good simple test procedure to make sure water is pumping etc.  I have some "muffs" to hook up the garden hose, or I could fill up a large bucket for the 10 and the 5 if that would be better.  Thanks for the help.  

What is the best way to drain the carbs without taking them apart? Thanks
