I have a 1998 stratos that has a in-dash lowrance x22a installed, but I guess the sun has killed the screen. Does anyone know if there is another fish finder that will fit in the slot

    Have you checked with Lowrance?  They know a lot about their equipment.  www.lowrance.com.
