Would This Baitcast Rod Work for BFS?

Featured Replies

This is an Okuma Crappie specific baitcast rod. 6'6", light, 4-8lbs line, 1/16-5/16oz.

I know the pics are a bit blurred, best I can get.

I've used this rod on my Zebco Micro 33 spincast reel and works good.

I ordered a Kastking Zephyr BFS reel and this is the rod I'll be using. Will this work for lighter lures?

Seems to be in the ballpark. You've got nothing to lose by trying it, because it's already paid for. It'll give you an idea whether or not you like BFS.

After all, if you find out you don't like it, the less money invested, the better.

   Good luck! ?             jj
