Quick humminbird question

Featured Replies

If I have a Unit with built in GPS and a Unit without built in gps but has capabilities to use the gps. Does the interlink use the GPS from the one unit to display it on the other unit? Or would I need a seperate GPS reciever in order to get GPS to my other unit.

Thanks

-Dylan

If both are interlink compatible then yes GPS will display on both. You can also pull your waypoints from the GPS unit. This is awesome if th GPS is on the console you can troll over and mark a point then use the TM mounted FF to stay on the target.

The Humminbird models that are marked "GPS Capable" will show the waypoints and tracks from the other units. That is all. They will not show the map like the base unit.

Here is what you will see:

Thanks to Greg Walters at Humminbird for the picture.
