Any good lakes for a beginner? Columbus ohio

Hello all, I live in south Columbus. bought a new boat 2019 rt188 and ready to hit the water, selling a 2020 bass tracker xl if anyone is interested.

 

 If you are near Columbus you've heard of clearfork lake which is where I used to fish. Unfortunately I moved to south Columbus and its just too far of a drive.

 

I mostly fish bass just beat the bank flipping or throwing a senko want to learn how to use electronics more. With that being said are there any good lakes known for offshore fishing or any that you can beat the bank all day near me? 

 

Would also like to take my girlfriend crappie fishing or maybe some suageye to eat was wondering about that as well.
