Trolling motor fuse mounting

I have a 12ft jon boat with a TM mounted. My question is where to mount the 50amp resettable fuse. Can I mount it on top of the battery box? It is a small square with two post terminals and I'm worried about it getting splashed on.

Any pics would be great of your mounting. Thanks !!

I assume you ment a resettable circuit breaker. Mount it directly to the positive battery terminal.

When I had one on my jon I actually riveted it just inside the battery box. kept out of the weather and very close to the battery.

Unless you are fishing in salt water, it will not hurt the circuit breaker to get splashed occasionally.
