Two blue strips on the front and the back deck. All storage, rod lockers and battery area are done in white. No problem finding my boat at an early launch or late load up.

I had wanted to put a similar lighting system in my Strat but figured I'd have to get something "automotive" and adapt it to the boat.

Now I know where to find it.

The livewell ones are nice too, also used some with mercury switches for my engine compartment. Can't beat bluewater for led's!

Ive been restoring a 87 Hydra SPort for about a year, I could never find the exact lights I wanted ( LED ) so I made my own, they are really very simple to make, the blue water ones are pretty good , I just wanted something different

I'm still pondering my lights.  I stuck some on already and don't like the ones on the decks.  Still thinking this one over.  

Bluewaters LED's are easy to install most places. I installed a one in my trolling motor tray and in the passenger side rod holder.

I've seen lots of really cool looking things done wiht these lights.

I've noticed at the Blue Water LED site that a lot of the deck lights are mounted right next to the LCD at the bow.

I would think it would make it more difficult to view the LCD at night.  

Anyone have any experience with LEDs close to the LCD?

Its not an issue with my Lowrance. I can adjust the brightness so that its easily readable. But, I've never had to do that. The LED's don't create enough glare to washout the display.

For these LED packages that are available, are they wired directly to the cranking battery or are you using a seperate battery like a mower or motorcycle etc.?  I am looking into the trailer package from Bluewater.  They look pretty cool

Mine use the cranking battery. They pull very little juice from the battery. Mine are all hooked up through the accessory switches on the console and the courtesy light switch which controlled the factory compartment lighting.
