Do any of you have or have you tried the Seastream Angler 120 PD kayak?

 

I'm looking for an entry level pedal kayak with instant reverse (to be able to jog in position while fishing) and this one actually looks pretty decent.

 

The main drawbacks for me are that it doesn't have a dry storage compartment and it doesn't come with an anchor trolley. Other than that, it looks like a decent entry level pedal kayak platform.

I don't think a lot of kayaks no matter the price range come stock with an anchor trolley. You either have your dealer add it on or put it on yourself.

 

I'm not a big dry storage guy. Previous boat had it and I wound up not using it for anything but junk accumulator. I prefer a big open tank well and an open bow storage area. I like to put my cooler in the open bow for those long tournament days. Plenty of water, snacks and lunch.

 

I think "dry" storage is a bit of a stretch anyway for a lot of kayaks. I prefer to just be closed off and not worry about water getting in.
