The Force Prop?

Featured Replies

  • Super User

I ordered my Garmin Force and it won’t be in for 3 more weeks. But I heard from more then an one guy that the prop blades break easily. If you hit a tree it brakes? I also heard the the Force  adapted to other MFG props, is this true? I have a Minn Kota 80lB Max that is 17 years old and I never broke a blade and I hit many trees and stumps!

I don’t know about that specific prop, but I always carry a spare TM prop and wrench ‘just in case’ but I’ve never had to use it. I also carry a spare main prop with drive sleeve and tools if I go on more than a day trip. My spare is pitched lower and I swap it out in the summer when pulling a tube.
