lowrance/eagle sonar settings

Featured Replies

Just put a lowrance x-125 on the console of my boat.  Already had a eagle 320 on tm.  What will I need to adjust on these units so they wont interfere with each other?

Thanks

I don't think there is anything you can do to completely eliminate "cross talk" short of powering one off while using the other.

It usually isn't a problem for me unless I'm in deeper water probably around 20' or so.  I usually turn the one off at the console while I'm fishing anyway though.

You can adjust the ping speed either to a higher or lower setting than the default 50% on the LCX 125 and it may lessen the cross talk.

Was just on the lowrance site troubleshooting my own LCD issue and came accross the same question in the FAQ's.

Just as Wayne P. said,  they advise adjusting the ping speed on one unit so that it is one speed level slower/faster from the other unit.
