Briery creek lake update and help?

What’s up guys been a long time been doing a lot of tournament fishing on the big lakes and the rivers here on va so I haven’t fished many small lakes lately. I cut my teeth on briery creek years ago but a buddy at work invited to go to good Ol briery creek with him sat but haven’t been in over 6-8 years was wondering if it’s worth going back and if anyone had been catching them latly figure bite should be getting good out there it used to get better and better the hotter it got but just seeing what’s changed and how guys are catching them!?
