Marine chargers

Featured Replies

I can not find a good marine build in charger,I've had 2 from bass pro, reviews said they sucked.Went to cabala's reviews said the same thing, they were no good. All the reviews said they would not last.NEED HELP.I don't want to keep buying them and replacing them.  THANK YOU

First, I don't understand the reviews panning on-board chargers. Although I don't search often I rarely see a negative review. I have a Dual Pro 3 bank that is closer to 20 years old than 15 and it has served me well. I plug it in about every month in the winter and in less than an hour it has topped the batteries off.

I bought a floating charger (2 for both mt batts) on ebay for $8 each and they seem to be working fine. I'm really happy with them.

Edit...  sorry I didnt see the on-board charger part of your post.

I have a Professional Mariner charger in both of the boats I own a 1999 ranger and a 2005 Stratos, both have been plugged in since the day I bought them both are still working great.

If you want an on-board charger that will last for years then Dual Pro or Guest are your best options.
