Anyone feel like your collection is complete?

Featured Replies

I am going to save all future rod & reel money in a intelligent way. I will take a LMB and a SMB with me whenever I want to buy another rig. A YES from BOTH of them ?  I buy.

I upgraded a bunch of reels this year, and I have no need for any rods or reels now.

More importantly, I really don't want anything new now.

Unless I get a fly setup next season.

Just one?  Dream on!  :lol1:

If the Internet would go away yes! But I don’t think it will ever be complete. Always upgrading something it seems. Example I hate spinning gear. Started reading about BFS and go down that rabbit hole I go!

That's my favorite technique, just picked up on it a couple of years ago and now I have 5 finesse reels and 7 rods.  Help...?  Granted, I've been primarily a light/ultralight tackle fisherman the better part of 40 years, so it was a natural fit for me.

I only want it for a couple baits . Like shad raps in cold water and figure I will fish a Ned rig and those kind of finesse stuff more often if this works out  I picked up a Phenix Feather to start . Put a Roro spool in one of my reels . We shall see . I know I can throw. 1/16 Ned with a small part of a grub as far on the BC as I can on a spinning rid . Tested same lure out on both just to compare . I was shocked !

Based on what I have... yes, but I want to get rid of almost all of it and start all over, with a more minimalistic approach ?
