Trolloing motor wobbles while trailering

Featured Replies

I've noticed that my 82 lb tour wobbles while I'm trailering my boat. It seems to be loose on the prop side of the storing plate. I've never had to strap it down. My question is there a way to stop this? I know there is an adjustment on the pull-pull cables at the base of my foot pedal, but I don't want to over tighten or break some thing.Any help is appreciated.Crowcommander

What brand is it?  I know that my minn kota came with a velcro strap.  I bolted my trolling motor to the bow with the strap pinched between the mount and the boat.  I strap that sucker down and it dont move.

I'm sorry Southtexas,Its a MotorGuide 82 lb Tour, foot control. Iv'e owned 3 of these and never had a problem. I guess I need to take it to my dealer and let him fix it. I'm sure its an adjusttment problem. I thought someone else might know how to remedy this.
