Ok well I have a 24volt trolling motor I'm going to be mounting on my jon boat very soon and was wondering what I would need to do to wire in my sonar unit to the 2 12 volt batteries or if it is even possible to use the sonar on the same 2 batteries for the trolling motor?

or will I just need to buy another battery just for my sonar? ;)

    Just connect your depth finder to one of the batteries.
