I have a 14' Jon boat with a 30HP motor and a handcontrol trolling motor mounted on the bow.  I am always fighting the trolling motor.  So I ordered a Procontroll adapter to turn my hand controll into a foot control.  I got it in today and this thing looks pretty good.  I am hoping to install tomorrow and give it a try .  I will post some pics as soon as I can. 

Sweet!  When I first saw the unit on the net, I wanted one for my bass raider and tiller tm.  I've since then sold the boat and tm, but still think the procontroll is a unique concept.  Let us know how it works.  If it fails, I can knock on the owner's door which is 2 miles from me  ;D. 

I had the thing installed when I received a call from Cebelas about a recall.  I had to pack the thing back up and send it back.   They tell me it will be close to a month before I get another one.  I think I am just going to look for a used foot controlled.

I wonder what the recall was about??

They said the screws that hold it to the boat have been breaking and the trolling motors were taking off the boat.  Just glad they called before it happened to me.
