fish finder power cord extention....?

I have a fish finder in which the power cord and transducer use the same plug into the head unit. The ducer cord is about seven times too long, whereas the power cord is about three times too short.

What kind of wire can be used to correct this issue?

It's a Cuda 128 if it matters.

    There is nothing special about the power cord.  Any 16 or 18 gauge two conductor wire will work as an extension.
