Looking at the 6'10" MH-R 2 piece casting rod for reaction baits. Does anyone own one and have any thoughts on it? Thanks

I have one but I have only fished it a handful of times. Have never caught anything on it. It is rated as regular(moderate in daiwa talk). However handling it and casting with it I would say it is more of a moderate fast rod. I think its ideal use probably single hook moving baits. Not soft enough for treble hook lures and not fast enough for bottom contact. Although it probably would do either of those things just not ideal. If you go to daiwa japans website and translate it the japan page says the rod is mod fast and good for spinnerbaits/swimjigs but also possible for texas rigs which is right in line with what I already thought.
