Currently using Xi3 with Pinpoint GPS. Tired of the remote and limited nav functionality. Looking to upgrade to working motor + plotter/finder combo that would allow greater nav options but still in some smaller package. Mainly looking to be able to pre plan nav tracks and waypoints on screen possibly off the water.  So for the current Xi3 I guess I would need Gateway and NMEA kits and supported plotter (possibly Lawrance HDS or Elite + charts). 

Anyone with similar setup that could give brand specific pros/cons. Dont mind changing to Minn Kota if it means simpler package and better compatibility. Also would like to stay on 12v but going 24v is not out of question.

There is also an app based ProNav Angler that could be added to a Minn Kota. Anyone using it?
