Cranking Batterys

Featured Replies

Whats the preferred cranking battery brand and size?

The one from my boat won't hold a charge so I have been using a deep cell battery to turn the engine over.

I run a group 24 Interstate cranking battery, and been more than happy with that. Group 27 Interstate  for trolling.

I run exactly this. The batteries seem to be solid and reliable.

I just went up to a group 27 Interstate for cranking and it is way better than my old group 24. I also went up on the trolling batteries to Interstate group 29 and they are better than my old 27 groups.
